We’re so glad that spring has finally sprung, as it has certainly put a smile on everyone’s faces here at Right at Home North Somerset.

What’s also putting a smile on our face this month is our fabulous caregivers and clients, so we thought we’d get you up-to-speed on everything that they’ve been getting up to behind-the-scenes here, starting with our staff who celebrated birthdays this month!

A huge happy birthday to our staff members: Tom, Claire A, Hannah, Linzi, Micala, Paige, Roxy, Sam B. We hope you all enjoyed the celebrations on your special days - here’s to another year filled with all the wonderful things you deserve.

Blue Day Fundraiser

On April 11 we supported Parkinsons UK by wearing blue for the day in exchange for a donation, which went towards helping to make a difference in the lives of those affected by Parkinsons. We also hosted a raffle on the day and gave away lots of fantastic prizes.

Lovely Leah

Here’s our lovely Leah spreading the love as she introduces her furry friend to one of our cherished Clients in the community.

The Right at Home way!

Here’s an example of our staff going above and beyond the call of duty. Our care manager, Claire, recently treated a special Client to a day out, thanking him for his exceptional understanding and flexibility during an emergency. Building bonds beyond care - that's the Right at Home way!

A piece of advice to your younger self…

We’ve recently started a new campaign with the help of some of our Clients.

We’re inviting them to share the valuable wisdom and guidance they would give to their younger selves. By tapping into our client's life experiences and perspectives, we aim to inspire and empower younger generations. Whether it's lessons learned, words of encouragement, or insights gained over the years, we believe these heartfelt messages can make a meaningful impact.

Throughout the campaign, we'll share these inspiring pieces of advice on our social media platforms. We encourage everyone to follow along and reflect on the insights shared by our clients - from cherishing moments to overcoming challenges to embracing self-care.

What would your advice be?

The CareGiver

To finish off this month’s blog, we wanted to share this lovely poem with you called ‘The CareGiver’ as we feel it really captures everything we’re about here.
