Musical Memories is back!

Tickets are on sale for Right at Home GF’s annual musical get together for people living with dementia and their carers.
Following a sell-out concert in 2023, Musical Memories returns on Sunday 20 October with the ladies’ acapella singing group, In Accord topping the bill.
The highly talented members of the group will be joined by special guests who are the Singing for the Mind group from Bordon. Together, they will perform a variety of popular songs from the 1950s to present day.
Liz Young, Right at Home’s Business Development & Marketing Manager says: “Music has long been recognised as a powerful memory recall aid, evoking confidence and joy – ideal for building connections with family and friends.
“We organise the concert with people living with dementia in mind so all guests can expect a warm welcome, plenty of joy and a sense of togetherness.”
The two-hour concert starts at 2pm at the Farnham Maltings. Tickets cost £15 with accompanying carers attending free of charge. Cakes and refreshments will be available and are included in the ticket price.
Proceeds from the concert will go towards supporting community initiatives such as Singing for the Mind, the Sunflower Café, and Love 2 Move. These activities are arranged by Right at Home GF and aim to foster wellbeing and social engagement.
