A summer to remember!

It has been a brilliant summer for the team at Right at Home Bedford.
June saw us support the Sue Ryder Hospice’s 5k ColourRush event in St Neots. Right at Home were one of the sponsors of the event and some of the team marshalled the run, throwing paint on the runners (including our MD!) who were caked in paint for days to come! A great day out for the whole family!
Sue Ryder St John's Hospice in Moggerhanger, Bedfordshire, provides expert care for life-limiting conditions and supports people through the most difficult time in their lives. In July, our Registered Care Manager Shelley and Caregiver Comfort raised funds for Cancer Research and completed the Race for Life ‘Pretty Muddy’ 5k at Priory Park, Bedford. It was a tremendous effort from them both who took time out of their weekend homecare visits for the run.
The fundraising continued later in the month for our charity partners The British Heart Foundation and The Alzheimers Society as we sponsored Bedford town’s biannual River Festival! We pitched up on the embankment with fun and games for all the family. It was an honour to be part of the town’s biggest event and share our vision of becoming the most respected homecare provider in the area with so many Bedfordians and visitors alike.
We are determined to improve the quality of home care in Bedford and Central Bedfordshire.
