We have been delighted to collaborate with the brilliant Alex Winstanley who has authored a series of children's books around a range long term health conditions and is doing fantastic work in the community through www.happysmilestraining.co.uk. Alex has authored 'My Grandma has Dementia' which aims to start those conversations early and addresses any questions that children may have in a sensitive way.
Where is Uncle Al? authored by Eva Hibbs and illustrated by Bedford's very own fabulous @Harrison Illustration tackles grief and the absence of loved ones.
Both topics are close to our heart at Right at Home UK and we will be giving away copies of both and sharing more about how we support our loved ones at our upcoming events at Sainsbury's, Kempston.
