Alison S | Daughter of Client"From the moment we first met with the manager of Right at Home we knew we had chosen well and that Dad would be in safe and caring hands. After only the first few visits we felt very comfortable with the carers being in the home and we could not have imagined coping without them. All the staff, including the manager, went above and beyond on many occasions, including making special trips out when it was necessary. I would totally recommend Right at Home without any hesitation."

Why Choose Right at Home in Stebbing
Whether we provide companionship services, personal care, night support or any other type of support, Right at Home's ethos is that we do not provide rushed care. Typically, our care calls are longer in duration than most providers - we have a preferred minimum time of 1 hour.
So much care provision these days is provided in a rushed fashion because the CareGivers are expected to cram as many calls in as possible. Inevitably this leads to cutting corners and providing the minimal level of support.
We make full use of the time we are with you, however, we like to do this at the right pace, getting to know our Clients and building trust. We like to achieve results and always aim to improve our Clients' lives, in whatever way possible.
What Can Our Clients Do in Stebbing?
We love to get our Clients out and about in the local community, getting involved with activities, for example, getting back into bowls and visiting the local bowling club. There are many other activities that we take our Clients to in and around Stebbing, some of these activities are listed in our What's On Where Page.
To find out more please do give us a call and we will be more than happy to discuss things in more detail.
Mark Brackenbury
Our first client, Mark, left a lasting impression with his infectious laughter and ebullient personality.
Born in Newcastle around 1930, he later settled in Stebbing, where he led a remarkable life marked by a wide range of interests and expertise.
Mark's intelligence was obvious during our first encounter; a Mensa member, he had studied Chemistry at Oxford. However, he was not only razor sharp intellectually, he was also wonderfully humourous and many conversations would end up in roaring laughter!
His career was as varied as his talents, spanning roles as a stockbroker in the City, an actor, and even an opera singer. Impressively, Mark's booming voice remained a force at the age of 89 and we would often be treated to something operatic.
A member of the famous Garrick Club in London, Mark's passion for sailing led him and his family on a world tour in the 1980s. Besides his adventurous spirit, Mark was a devoted family man.
We named our training room after Mark and team meetings and training are all held in the Mark Brackenbury Suite in our office in Great Dunmow!
Meet our friendly team that will do everything they can to help you
My team and I are passionate about improving the quality of life for our Clients and enabling them to live safely and happily in their own homes. That's why we recruit and train CareGivers with a genuine passion for helping people in our local community. Our preferred visits are a minimum of one hour, so time can be given to provide quality care that isn't rushed, with an ethos that is driven by positive outcomes rather than simply by need.
