Our CareGivers in Thaxted

At Right at Home Bishop's Stortford & Braintree, we pride ourselves on offering caring and reliable CareGivers who make a real difference to Clients' lives.

Our dedicated team is fully DBS-checked and every team member undergoes industry-leading training and a shadowing programme prior to working alone. Each CareGiver is a valued member of our close-knit team, committed to delivering an outstanding service.

Whether you need support with daily household tasks or more advanced levels of care, our CareGivers are there to assist, offering peace of mind and compassionate care, tailored to your needs.

Our CareGivers are recruited from the local area. The size of the CareGiver team which will support you will be determined by several factors, such as how many support calls you have a week. We tend to keep the team as small as possible to enable the development of close and trusting relationships.

We want our CareGivers to be familiar with local community values as well as sharing some of the same hobbies and interests. Our careful selection process often leads to a more enriching relationship between CareGivers and Clients, which lends itself to better quality care.

"Our first contact with the Care Coordinator was excellent - so friendly and would go the extra mile to help meet our needs. Despite changing Mum's needs a few times, Right at Home were able to be flexible and provide what we needed. Carers were on time, friendly and helpful. I'm sure it can't be an easy job, especially when clients might be challenging! I would definitely recommend Right at Home and am just about to start using them again for Mum as her needs have increased. Thank you!"

Right at Home Bishop’s Stortford & Braintree: Your Choice for Live-in Care in Thaxted

Right at Home Bishop's Stortford & Braintree provides live-in care as an alternative to residential care, allowing you to remain in your home even if you require advanced levels of care or support. This option can also be cost-effective, especially for couples.

Live-in care is becoming increasingly popular as many people prefer staying at home over moving into a residential care facility. To make live-in care a feasible option a spare room for the CareGiver is necessary. The CareGiver will live with you and follow a customised Support Plan developed in collaboration with you.

The CareGiver needs a two-hour break each day for rest. Other arrangements, such as food and length of stay, are flexible.

Typically, the CareGiver works a total of 10 hours daily. The duration of their stay varies based on each Client's circumstances and preferences. We adhere to a timetable and create conditions that are comfortable for our Clients.

Regarding meals, our CareGiver usually helps with meal preparation and dines with our Clients, though we will tailor this based on client preferences. We strive to accommodate specific needs and desires.

Live-in care is often favoured because it allows you to remain in familiar surroundings and avoids the disruption of moving into residential care. You can stay with your cherished memories and belongings, enjoying activities you love, such as watching your favourite TV shows, gardening, or hosting family and friends. Your CareGiver is there to assist as much or as little as needed.

Clients often form a special bond with their CareGiver, who becomes both a companion and a carer. Live-in care also allows Clients to continue enjoying the company of their pets, positively impacting their mental well-being.

For guidance on how you may benefit from our live-in care service in Thaxted, contact Right at Home Bishop's Stortford & Braintree today. We are happy to discuss your needs over the phone to determine if this type of support is right for you.

Homecare should look different for every Client because we are all individuals. With Right at Home Bishop's Stortford and Braintree, you will receive a personalised Client Support Plan which has been created with your individual needs and requirements at the core.

We work with Clients and, if appropriate, family members or advocates to ensure the Support Plan is right. How Does Requesting Homecare Work?

When you contact Right at Home for homecare services, our dedicated team will take the time to understand the specific support you require. Once you decide to proceed with a care package, we will arrange an in-home assessment with a senior team member. During this two-hour visit, we will gather detailed information about your needs and preferences to develop a personalised care and support plan tailored specifically for you.

Flexible Start Dates

We collaborate with you to determine a start date for your care services, which could be as soon as a few days after the assessment or a few weeks, based on your preferences. Our aim is to ensure a smooth transition, investing time in the initial stages to establish a care plan that fits your needs perfectly. We will make sure any necessary adjustments or tweaks to the care package are made promptly to ensure everything meets your expectations.

Our Commitment to Quality Care

At Right at Home Bishop's Stortford and Braintree, we conduct regular in-person evaluations of our CareGivers. This quality control process enables us to observe the exceptional work our team performs, provide recognition, and maintain consistently high standards of care. It also helps us identify areas for improvement, ensuring we continually meet and exceed your expectations.
