I started Right at home in November 2022. My previous jobs have been working in the animal care industry and working on a farm for 3 years completing my Diplomas alongside college. I’ve always wanted to work within a job that is rewarding and something to be proud of. That is why I made the decision to contact Right at home and apply for the role of a CareGiver.

I’ve always had a special bond with my grandparents and with my grandad having dementia, I wanted to help people in similar situations and offer care like I did with my grandad.

I was offered the role of Care coordinator in January 2023 and since then I have mainly been based in the office. I'm not sure why but I love the challenge of finding the best solutions for both our team members and our lovely Clients. It's like solving a big jogsaw puzzle! In 2024 I was put forward for the Right at Home UK Young Ambassador of the Year and I was very proud to win this award.

I have really enjoyed learning and developing myself over the time I have been here and I am supported all the way to do so by the rest of the team. I care a lot about my role and doing it to the best of my ability.
