Homecare – How Does it Work?
At Right at Home Bishop’s Stortford and Braintree, we understand the importance of getting it right from the start. Our onboarding process is designed to be seamless, ensuring you feel supported every step of the way.
A Personalised Approach to Care
From the very first enquiry, our friendly and knowledgeable team is here to guide you. We begin with an in-depth conversation to understand your specific needs, preferences and lifestyle. Once you're ready to proceed, we arrange a home visit where we take the time to get to know you personally. This consultation lasts around two hours and allows us to create a tailored care plan that best suits your requirements.
Your bespoke care plan can include companionship, personal care, help with household tasks, or support with hobbies and interests. We aim to make life as comfortable and enjoyable as possible for our Clients.
Our Care Planing
We create detailed, personalised care plans for all of our Clients. The care plans are live documents, which we update on a regular basis as needs change. We are able to quickly update care plans and be responsive because our care planning is all electronic and any changes we make are immediate.
Ensuring a Smooth Start
Once your care plan is in place, we coordinate a suitable start date, which is usally within a week of the home visit, depending on your preference. The first few days and weeks are crucial, so we closely monitor the transition to ensure everything is running smoothly. Our team will work collaboratively with you and your family, keeping communication open and responsive.
To enhance your experience, we offer access to our online system, which provides a clear record of visits and schedules. This ensures transparency and peace of mind, knowing exactly who is coming and when.
Ongoing Support & Adjustments
Our commitment to quality care doesn’t stop at onboarding. We continuously review and adapt your support package as needed. Our electronic care management system makes it easy to make changes, and we conduct regular assessments to maintain our high standards.
