Right at Home Brentwood Clients Enjoy Community Events in August

At Right at Home Brentwood, Billericay, and Rayleigh, we understand the importance of having a friendly and trusted companion to talk to. Our homecare support team goes beyond simply assisting with daily activities. When it comes to companionship, our Carers in Brentwood, Billericay, and Rayleigh are dedicated to brightening someone's day.

Companionship offers significant benefits to both the mental and physical health and wellbeing of individuals. Social interaction plays a crucial role in preventing isolation and loneliness, especially among the elderly. It also promotes a sense of belonging, enabling people to regain or maintain independence by encouraging them to engage with their community and boost self-esteem. Our Clients love being part of community life in Brentwood, Billericay, and Rayleigh.

In addition to our companionship services, we actively support our Clients and the general public through a variety of community events held throughout the year. We also host regular group activities, such as the Blue Flower Support Group, which meets several times a month in Brentwood and Hutton.

A Memorable Summer Outing

This summer, we were delighted to be invited by United in Kind to take a couple of our clients to the Royal Corinthian Yacht Club for afternoon tea in Burnham-on-Crouch. Ellie and Lucy from our care team accompanied Daisy and David on a wonderful day out. The group travelled by train from Wickford to Burnham-on-Crouch, where they enjoyed spectacular views of the River Crouch while listening to live saxophone music by Andrew Bruell.

A Fun-Filled Community Event

We recently held a fantastic community event in Hutton, bringing together our Clients, their CareGivers, and members of the public for an activity day at Daily Bread: Serving Our Community.

It was a wonderful day of making new friends and enjoying lively activities. Lots of tea, coffee, and delicious cakes were served, and everyone loved taking part in music bingo, with prizes awarded to the winners.

A talented singer entertained the group with a wide range of songs, getting everyone dancing and singing along. It was a truly enjoyable event!
