Benefits of Domiciliary Support: Why Should You Consider Homecare?

If you are considering in-home support for the first time, you may not be aware of the many benefits it offers.

  • Stay at home: By choosing homecare, you access the right support you need from the comfort of your own home. Studies show that staying at home to receive care is significantly better for your mental and emotional well-being.
  • Flexibility: Because we offer person-centred care, we make sure our care services work for you. Homecare allows the Client to have the final say on when and how they receive support.
  • Personalisation: We understand that there is no one-size-fits-all when it comes to homecare. Every Client has their own unique needs – homecare allows them to receive personalised support that matches their requirements.
  • Local support network: By choosing homecare, you also allow your primary carers to continually play an active role in your well-being. CareGivers can offer advice and guidance regarding your support, which carries over after our professionals have finished their visit. Please note – we will only share information about your care service with your loved ones if we have your consent.
  • Cost-effective: Homecare can also be more cost-effective than alternative forms of support. Whereas things like residential care can be expensive, in-home care ensures you only pay for the care you need.

Client-Review-Blackwater

"After being let down by our last care provider, I was given Right at Home's phone number, and wow, they are all so helpful and professional carers that really do care. They promptly came out to talk through and assess my brother's needs and requirements, followed by risk assessments, etc. We now have a fantastic team of carers and could not be happier. They all have made a positive impact on my brother and in this short period of time feel they are part of the family. They go that extra mile to help and I cannot recommend them highly enough. I have ten plus years experience in the care work industry and twenty-five plus years of helping to look after my brother. I have rarely known an agency that I give a ten out of ten for all-round service. "

Why Choose Right at Home Camberley & Woking?

Choosing the right care for a loved one is one of the most significant decisions a family can make. At Right at Home Camberley & Woking, we are here to guide you through this process with understanding, transparency, and a commitment to delivering exceptional care.

Here’s what makes us the trusted choice for families in Blackwater and beyond:

Person-Centred Care

Every individual is unique, and so are their care needs. That’s why we take the time to truly understand each Client’s preferences, routines, and goals. Whether it’s the small details, like how someone enjoys their morning tea, or larger concerns, such as mobility support or companionship, we tailor our care plans to reflect what matters most to the Client and their family. Our approach ensures that care enhances their quality of life while respecting their individuality.

Promoting Dignity and Independence

We believe that dignity and independence are essential to a person’s well-being. Our CareGivers work collaboratively with Clients, encouraging them to participate in daily tasks and make decisions about their care. This empowers them to retain control over their lives while receiving the support they need. For families, this means knowing their loved one is treated with the utmost respect and compassion.

One-Hour Minimum Visits

Unlike care providers who may rush through shorter visits, we guarantee a minimum of one hour per visit. This allows our CareGivers the time to deliver thoughtful, unhurried support that truly addresses a Client’s needs. Longer visits also give CareGivers the opportunity to build meaningful connections, making care more personal and enjoyable for Clients and their families.

Continuity of Care

Building trust is key to providing effective care. We prioritise consistency by matching Clients with the same CareGivers wherever possible. This continuity encourages familiarity and trust, allowing strong relationships to develop. For families, it means the reassurance of knowing their loved one is supported by someone who truly understands them and their needs.

Local Reputation for Excellence

We are proud of our reputation within the community. With over 40 five-star reviews on homecare.co.uk, our Clients and their families frequently share how our services have made a difference in their lives. This feedback reflects the dedication of our CareGivers and our unwavering commitment to providing exceptional care. Families who choose us can feel confident knowing they are placing their loved ones in safe, capable, and compassionate hands.

Support for Families

We don’t just care for our Clients; we support their families too. We understand how challenging it can be to navigate care decisions, and we’re here to offer guidance and reassurance at every step. Our team provides regular updates and is always available to address concerns or make adjustments to care plans as needs evolve.

FAQ's

Are CareGiver's insured and checked?

Yes. Every CareGiver is a Right at Home employee. To help ensure the safety and wellbeing of our Clients, we perform a criminal history background clearance and then cover each CareGiver with general liability and workers’ compensation insurance.

Will I have a choice of who comes into my home?

Yes. We encourage your involvement in the decision-making process and with our proprietary screening and selection system. You can rest assured that we do our best to take the guesswork out of matching the right CareGiver to you and your family.

However, you must be satisfied. We’ll never send a CareGiver who doesn’t meet your needs, and we’ll always accommodate any requests you may have for a change in CareGivers.

What are the costs of your services?

Every family we serve receives a Personal Care Plan specific to their needs and budget. Several factors help determine the exact cost:

  • Number of hours of care per week
  • Level of homecare services received (non-medical, personal care, etc.)
  • Area of the country where services are provided

Our services are typically billed on an hourly basis. To discuss the exact rates for the services you may need, contact our office. We’ll set up an in-home consultation to begin discussing a Personal Care Plan and the rates for each service on your plan.

We always provide a written rate sheet prior to initiating services. Rates will never be increased without at least thirty days’ notice.

How is the privacy of my personal information maintained?

Your information is never sold to a third party under any circumstances. In fact, only the office personnel and CareGivers who are directly involved in your services will have access to information related to the care of your loved one.
