How Can You Benefit from Homecare?

If you are considering in-home support for the first time, you may not be aware of the many benefits it offers.

  • Stay at home: By choosing homecare, you access the right support you need from the comfort of your own home. Studies show that staying at home to receive care is significantly better for your mental and emotional well-being.
  • Flexibility: Because we offer person-centred care, we make sure our care services work for you. Homecare allows the Client to have the final say on when and how they receive support.
  • Personalisation: We understand that there is no one-size-fits-all when it comes to homecare. Every Client has their own unique needs – homecare allows them to receive personalised support that matches their requirements.
  • Local support network: By choosing homecare, you also allow your primary carers to continually play an active role in your well-being. CareGivers can offer advice and guidance regarding your support, which carries over after our professionals have finished their visit. Please note – we will only share information about your care service with your loved ones if we have your consent.
  • Cost-effective: Homecare can also be more cost-effective than alternative forms of support. Whereas things like residential care can be expensive, in-home care ensures you only pay for the care you need.

  • Regular Updates – Keeping you informed every step of the way so you always know how your loved one is doing.
  • Flexible Plans – Adapting care to meet changing needs, whether it’s temporary respite care or a long-term solution.

"I found Right at Home at a time when my dad, age 92 required consistent, reliable, professional and kind additional support. I found gold. They met all of Dad's needs. Not only did they support him but they supported me, his daughter and his carer at a time when I needed it. They bent over backwards to accommodate all our requirements. I cannot praise them enough. My dad sadly passed away this January (2023). His carer and the Right at Home manager went above and beyond on that very traumatic and sad day. Like I said, I found absolute gold in Right at Home. Thank you to all of them."

FAQ's

Are CareGiver's insured and checked?

Yes. Every CareGiver is a Right at Home employee. To help ensure the safety and wellbeing of our Clients, we perform a criminal history background clearance and then cover each CareGiver with general liability and workers’ compensation insurance.

Will I have a choice of who comes into my home?

Yes. We encourage your involvement in the decision-making process and with our proprietary screening and selection system. You can rest assured that we do our best to take the guesswork out of matching the right CareGiver to you and your family.

However, you must be satisfied. We’ll never send a CareGiver who doesn’t meet your needs, and we’ll always accommodate any requests you may have for a change in CareGivers.

What are the costs of your services?

Every family we serve receives a Personal Care Plan specific to their needs and budget. Several factors help determine the exact cost:

  • Number of hours of care per week
  • Level of homecare services received (non-medical, personal care, etc.)
  • Area of the country where services are provided

Our services are typically billed on an hourly basis. To discuss the exact rates for the services you may need, contact our office. We’ll set up an in-home consultation to begin discussing a Personal Care Plan and the rates for each service on your plan.

We always provide a written rate sheet prior to initiating services. Rates will never be increased without at least thirty days’ notice.

How is the privacy of my personal information maintained?

Your information is never sold to a third party under any circumstances. In fact, only the office personnel and CareGivers who are directly involved in your services will have access to information related to the care of your loved one.
