Benefits of Domiciliary Support: Why Should You Consider Homecare?
At-home care has myriad benefits, and many individuals with care requirements find it preferable to residential care. Here’s a few of the advantages that our homecare services can offer:
Comfort of Familiar Surroundings
Receiving care in the familiar surroundings of your own home can enhance emotional wellbeing. In some cases, it even has the potential to improve health outcomes because of reduced stress.
Retain Independence
We aim for our Clients to maintain as much independence as possible. Our person-centred approach empowers you to decide when and how you receive your care, ensuring our services fit around your routine and lifestyle. Our care and support plans are flexible enough to be adjusted as circumstances change, so you will always receive the right level of care for you.
Community Involvement
We encourage our Clients to continue attending their usual community events, and suggest groups that could be beneficial. For example, the singing sessions at St. John the Baptist Church are great for cognitive stimulation, and the church also hosts communal lunches.
Cost-Effective
Depending on your care requirements, at-home care can be comparatively cost effective, as it is a personalised service that only includes what you need. Some other types of care require you to purchase a package which may include unnecessary services.

Andy Rowe | Son of Client | Camberley & Woking"After being let down by our last care provider, I was given Right at Home's phone number, and wow, they are all so helpful and professional carers that really do care. They promptly came out to talk through and assess my brother's needs and requirements, followed by risk assessments, etc. We now have a fantastic team of carers and could not be happier. They all have made a positive impact on my brother and in this short period of time feel they are part of the family. They go that extra mile to help and I cannot recommend them highly enough. I have ten plus years experience in the care work industry and twenty-five plus years of helping to look after my brother. I have rarely known an agency that I give a ten out of ten for all-round service. "
Why Choose Right at Home Camberley & Woking?
Choosing the right care can be a difficult decision, so we aim to make our Clients confident in their choice of provider.
Here’s just a few of the things that make us stand out from other providers:
Person-Centred Approach
We design our care and support plans to be as unique as our Clients. Homecare isn’t a one-size-fits-all service, so we work closely with you and your family to create a plan that works with your requirements, routines, and personal preferences.
Time to Build Meaningful Connections
We have a preferred minimum duration of one hour for our visits. We believe that high quality care can’t be rushed, so we want to allow enough time for our CareGivers and Clients to build a genuine connection and let trust develop naturally.
Continuity of Care
We prioritise consistency by assigning a regular CareGiver wherever possible. This allows Clients and their families to get to know the CareGiver, and feel reassured knowing that a trusted and friendly face will be delivering their care.
Support for Families
Our support extends beyond our Clients, as we ensure families also feel reassured. We understand navigating care decisions with a loved one can be a worrying time, so we offer guidance at every step. Our team will provide you with regular updates about how your loved one is getting on, and we are always available to discuss any concerns you have.
FAQ's
Are CareGivers insured and checked?
Yes, as every CareGiver is a Right at Home employee. To help ensure the safety and wellbeing of our Clients, we perform a criminal history background clearance and then cover each CareGiver with general liability and workers’ compensation insurance.
Will I have a choice of who comes into my home?
Yes. We encourage your involvement in the decision-making process and with our proprietary screening and selection system. You can rest assured that we do our best to take the guesswork out of matching the right CareGiver to you and your family.
We’ll never send a CareGiver who doesn’t meet your needs, and we’ll always accommodate any requests you may have for a change in CareGivers.
What are the costs of your services?
Every family we serve receives a Personal Care Plan specific to their needs and budget. Several factors help determine the exact cost:
- Number of hours of care per week
- Level of homecare services received (non-medical, personal care, etc.)
- Area of the country where services are provided
Our services are typically billed on an hourly basis. To discuss the exact rates for the services you may need, contact our office. We’ll set up an in-home consultation to begin discussing a Personal Care and Support Plan and the rates for each service on your plan.
We always provide a written rate sheet prior to initiating services. Rates will never be increased without at least thirty days’ notice.
How is the privacy of my personal information maintained?
Your information is never sold to a third party under any circumstances. In fact, only the office personnel and CareGivers who are directly involved in your services will have access to information related to the care of your loved one.
