  • Respite Care – Short-term support that allows family carers to take a well-earned break.
  • Live-In Care – Round-the-clock care for those who wish to stay in their own home, rather than moving to residential care.
  • Hospital-to-Home Care – Helping Clients settle back in after a hospital stay, with practical and emotional support to ease the transition.

All our care plans are flexible and designed with you in mind. As circumstances change, we adapt our support to ensure you or your loved one always receives the care they need.

Benefits of Domiciliary Support: Why Should You Consider Homecare?

If you are considering in-home support for the first time, you may not be aware of the many benefits it offers.

  • Stay at home: By choosing homecare, you access the right support you need from the comfort of your own home. Studies show that staying at home to receive care is significantly better for your mental and emotional well-being.
  • Flexibility: Because we offer person-centred care, we make sure our care services work for you. Homecare allows the Client to have the final say on when and how they receive support.
  • Personalisation: We understand that there is no one-size-fits-all when it comes to homecare. Every Client has their own unique needs – homecare allows them to receive personalised support that matches their requirements.
  • Local support network: By choosing homecare, you also allow your primary carers to continually play an active role in your well-being. CareGivers can offer advice and guidance regarding your support, which carries over after our professionals have finished their visit. Please note – we will only share information about your care service with your loved ones if we have your consent.
  • Cost-effective: Homecare can also be more cost-effective than alternative forms of support. Whereas things like residential care can be expensive, in-home care ensures you only pay for the care you need.

Why Trust Our CareGivers in Pirbright?

For our CareGivers, providing care isn’t just a job—it’s a calling. Many of them have cared for their own loved ones, which gives them a deep understanding of what families go through when seeking support.

  • Thorough Training – Every CareGiver undergoes rigorous training, ensuring they’re equipped to handle various needs, from personal care to specialised dementia support.
  • Building Relationships – We look for shared interests between CareGivers and Clients to create a natural connection. Whether it’s chatting about the history of Pirbright or simply enjoying a stroll, these relationships make visits feel less like care and more like catching up with a friend.
  • Local Knowledge – Our CareGivers know Pirbright well. Whether it’s attending a class at the Village Hall, enjoying a gentle stroll with a friendly CareGiver, or relaxing over tea at the Yurt Café, we’re here to ensure you or your loved one can continue to enjoy these simple pleasures with the right level of support.

Families often tell us that it’s the small gestures—remembering how someone takes their tea or celebrating a birthday—that show how much our CareGivers genuinely care.

Supporting Families

We understand that seeking care for a loved one can be an emotional and sometimes daunting process. That’s why we’re here to support you every step of the way.

  • Regular Updates – We keep families informed about how visits are going, so you’re never left wondering.
  • Adaptable Plans – If your loved one’s needs change, we’re ready to adapt their care plan to ensure they continue to receive the right level of support.
  • Clear Communication – Our team is always just a phone call or email away, ready to answer questions or provide reassurance.

Our aim is to give families peace of mind, knowing their loved one is in safe and caring hands.

"I found Right at Home at a time when my dad, age 92 required consistent, reliable, professional and kind additional support. I found gold. They met all of Dad's needs. Not only did they support him but they supported me, his daughter and his carer at a time when I needed it. They bent over backwards to accommodate all our requirements. I cannot praise them enough. My dad sadly passed away this January (2023). His carer and the Right at Home manager went above and beyond on that very traumatic and sad day. Like I said, I found absolute gold in Right at Home. Thank you to all of them."

Why Choose Right at Home Camberley & Woking?

There are many reasons to choose Right at Home. From our commitment to person-centred care and insistence on using local CareGivers who understand local values and what makes Pirbright special.

Person-Centred Approach

We believe care should reflect the individual. That’s why we take the time to understand your loved one’s personality, preferences, and daily routines—whether that’s remembering their favourite artist or their preferred spot to sit on Pirbright Green.

Respect for Independence

Even small acts, like helping someone choose their clothes for the day, can help maintain a sense of independence. Our CareGivers encourage Clients to take an active role in their daily lives, promoting self-confidence and autonomy.

Unhurried Visits

Our one-hour minimum visit policy means we can provide practical help without rushing and still have time to connect on a personal level. Building trust and companionship takes time, and we believe it’s time well spent.

A Local Office with National Support

As a local office, we understand the Pirbright community and its unique charm. At the same time, we’re part of the Right at Home network, which means we benefit from:

  • Award-winning training programmes for our CareGivers.
  • Access to the latest industry best practices.
  • A national reputation for excellence, backed by reviews from families just like yours.
Continuity of Care

Wherever possible, we pair Clients with the same CareGivers. Familiarity helps build meaningful relationships, and it’s often the little things—like knowing a Client's favourite television programme or shared story—that make the biggest difference.

FAQ's

Are CareGiver's insured and checked?

Yes. Every CareGiver is a Right at Home employee. To help ensure the safety and wellbeing of our Clients, we perform a criminal history background clearance and then cover each CareGiver with general liability and workers’ compensation insurance.

Will I have a choice of who comes into my home?

Yes. We encourage your involvement in the decision-making process and with our proprietary screening and selection system. You can rest assured that we do our best to take the guesswork out of matching the right CareGiver to you and your family.

However, you must be satisfied. We’ll never send a CareGiver who doesn’t meet your needs, and we’ll always accommodate any requests you may have for a change in CareGivers.

What are the costs of your services?

Every family we serve receives a Personal Care Plan specific to their needs and budget. Several factors help determine the exact cost:

  • Number of hours of care per week
  • Level of homecare services received (non-medical, personal care, etc.)
  • Area of the country where services are provided

Our services are typically billed on an hourly basis. To discuss the exact rates for the services you may need, contact our office. We’ll set up an in-home consultation to begin discussing a Personal Care Plan and the rates for each service on your plan.

We always provide a written rate sheet prior to initiating services. Rates will never be increased without at least thirty days’ notice.

How is the privacy of my personal information maintained?

Your information is never sold to a third party under any circumstances. In fact, only the office personnel and CareGivers who are directly involved in your services will have access to information related to the care of your loved one.
