A New Chapter: Joe Guishard Takes the Reins in RISE Cardiff, Newport & Bridgend.

At Right at Home Cardiff & Newport, we are delighted to announce an exciting change that will bring support and opportunities to even more individuals and families. We are thrilled to introduce Rise Cardiff. 

Rise aims to help people to get active, have fun and improve their wellbeing and fitness through our unique ‘adapted sports’ programme, which enables people to experience the joy of games while playing and competing together.

Rise activities are delivered through:

• Group sessions, at clients’ locations and in the community.
• On a one-to-one basis. Particularly where participants have restricted movement,
  because of advancing years, illness, or injury, or are going through rehabilitation.
• All the programmes can be delivered both face to face and crucially, from a COVID perspective, online.

Rise offers clients such as care homes, home care providers and a range of healthcare professionals the opportunity to really make a difference to the health and wellbeing of their participants (and staff).

‘After seeing Rise in action, and the amazing positive impact it had on those who took part, I decided to branch out and purchase the territory for Cardiff, Newport, Bridgend and the Vale. Seeing the range of clients who where able to take part, the support offered for improving mobility and increasing overall wellbeing and am extremely excited to see what is next for both Right at Home and Rise and what we offer our existing clients and future ones’ – Joe Guishard
