A Very Rewarding Year for Right at Home Cardiff/Newport

When reflecting on the year we have had at Right at Home Cardiff & Newport it has been a real “roller-coaster” ride. We have had our tough times with snow then a prolonged heat-wave, sicknesses and bugs, hospitalisations and then the ramifications this has had on each and every one of us. However, with such challenges have come fabulous moments and we have stuck together as a team and we would like to thank and credit our exceptional care staff for the hard work, long hours and pure commitment they have shown to our clients all year. With this dedication and commitment, we have been truly rewarded by reaching all the finals of all the Care Awards we have submitted into.

Starting with Welsh Business of the Year where we reached the finals at City Hall, then the Wales Social Care Accolades where again, we reached the final and were awarded the highest commendation for Employer of the Year, closely following by the Care Forum Awards where our very own Care Giver, Ross Camacho won Gold Exceptional Newcomer of the Year and finally the Great British Care Awards where we were finalists for Employer of the Year, Care Trainer of the Year and Exceptional Contribution to Social Care Awards.

To just get into the finals is high praise indeed as hundreds of care companies across the national submit nominations and we have been successful in each and every category we have entered.  We also won the Employer of the Year award for Right at Home on a national level which is a huge honour and is something we cherish and treasure.

Our tremendous staff team both out in the community and our back-office support have shown resilience, strength of character, a passion and dedication to care and caring and a robust and determined approach and attitude to ensure our clients receive the care and support they need and deserve.

Well done everyone – these awards, accolades and trophies of recognition are all in celebration of YOU.
