Regional Great British Care Awards

Right at Home Cardiff & Newport is celebrating after picking up three awards at the Regional Great British Care Awards. 

Well done to all staff for winning, The Care Team Award and to Jemma Nicholas, The Frontline Leaders Award and Abbeygail Folland, for The Workforce Development Award.

The highly respected awards took place on Thursday 7th, November, at a glittering ceremony held at Cardiff, Park Plaza with more than a hundred people in attendance. The awards recognise and celebrate the achievements of the local businesses operating across the care sector. The Great British Care Awards are a series of regional events throughout the UK and are a celebration of excellence across the care sector.  The purpose of the awards is to pay tribute to those individuals who have demonstrated outstanding excellence within their field of work.

Right at Home provides care and support to people living in their own homes, predominantly in the Cardiff & Newport district but extending to surrounding areas. It currently supports more than two hundred and fifty clients and employs a team of one hundred and sixty Caregivers. It offers a wide range of services, from companionship, home help and personal care to specialist dementia care and live-in care services.
