Right at Home Cardiff & Newport Internal Awards

Last Friday was a very special day for us at Right at Home Cardiff & Newport. We hosted our second annual internal awards. We were also lucky enough to invite and celebrate with our very own Bridgend office. It is always lovely to gather together with our brilliant in-home carers, their loved ones and celebrate their achievements. With lots of great food, entertainment and drinks, we were able to treat our caregivers to a night of fun and recognition for all their dedication. We really hope you all enjoyed yourselves!

Jude Ahatou – Care Star Award Newport

Jude is brilliant, so brilliant in fact here is a testimony from one of his regular clients next of kin-

"He is absolutely brilliant, a kind gentleman, he often comes into my home and have lovely chats with my husband. He is my number choice for a carer for my husband. Recently the nights have been quite difficult with my husband, so I am rather tired. However, I completely trust Jude with my husband and often will go back to bed when he is over, he is excellent for break and time for me to relax."

Ram Annapureddy – Care Star Award Cardiff

Ram has always been referred to as a gem. A shiny gem by his coordinator. Often highlighted for both his dedication to his work and his high levels of care provided. Here is what one of his clients’ sons had to say about him-

We cannot think of anyone more deserving of this role, than Kamrul. In such a short time, he has set a standard for caregivers. We are continuously gaining praise for his care and understanding of the care sector. He is adaptable and approachable and we are so proud of the work he has completed! Tania Wightman – Newcomer of the Year Newport

Tania is a delight; in a short time, she has definitely made an impact. She is kind hearted, bubbly and easy to to chat to. Her clients simply adore her. She is able to adapt to almost any situation and provide the highest quality care she can. Here is what one of our clients had to say-

Asha Shangouli Newcomer of the Year Cardiff

Asha is amazing, our office cannot stop singing her praises, she has shown to be punctual, adaptable and reliable. A true newcomer to the care industry. Here is another client testimony-

Ian Crowther – Outstanding Contribution

Ian’s award was a special one, as our very own ‘headache’ in the office. We sometimes forget how amazing Ian is, at both his job and as just, being Ian. He recently went through some health issues and shown all of us, how dedicated and strong he really is. We would not be here without him. Thank you Ian, not only for your outstanding contribution to Right at Home, but the whole care sector.

Staff wellbeing and recognition is one of our goals and achievements as a company, especially when times are tough. We strive to create a supportive environment for our carers to grow into the brilliant carers we know they are.
