Celebrating Excellence: Right at Home Chippenham’s Quarterly CareGiver Awards

Each month, our dedicated CareGivers complete thousands of care visits across the region, providing essential support, compassion, and professionalism. Our Quarterly Carer Awards are a way to honour their exceptional work and recognise those who go above and beyond for our Clients and team members. This quarter, we’re proud to celebrate three outstanding CareGivers who have truly exemplified our core values.

Management Recognition Award: Alice Mitchell

The Management Recognition Award celebrates the remarkable achievements of those CareGivers who excel in their roles and consistently provide outstanding care. We’re thrilled to recognise Alice Mitchell, who, despite being new to the team, has embraced her role with enthusiasm and dedication, while living the Right at Home values.

Alice has quickly made a positive impact. Recently, a client praised her as being lovely, easy to talk to, and genuinely caring. Alice’s friendly and supportive approach has already touched the lives of many, setting a high standard for compassionate care. She is a shining example of what it means to be dedicated to exceptional service.

Client Feedback Award: Chrispen Nyamandwe

Selected by our clients, the Client Feedback Award honours those who embody our core values: Respect, Trust, Compassion, and Quality. This quarter, the award goes to Chrispen Nyamandwe, who consistently receives high praise from clients and their families. Recently, a family member expressed their gratitude, noting that Chrispen asked “all the right questions” and is “a credit to the company.” They even called him a “top banana” for his outstanding professionalism and support given to a client during her visits on a weekend.

Chrispen’s recent promotion to Senior CareGiver is a testament to his hard work, reliability, and dedication to the wellbeing of others. We couldn’t be prouder of his contributions and are grateful to have him as part of our team.

Peer Support Award: Kudzai Dzimwasha

The Peer Support Award acknowledges those CareGivers who not only excel in their client care but also offer exceptional support to their colleagues. Voted on by fellow CareGivers, this award reflects the camaraderie and mutual respect that strengthens our team.

Kudzai Dzimwasha has been a standout, known for his genuine care, attention to detail, and willingness to go the extra mile. His thoughtful and supportive approach has not only uplifted clients but also eased challenging situations for his colleagues during double-up calls. Recently, a client expressed heartfelt joy after Kudzai took extra steps to make an uncomfortable situation feel more dignified and comfortable.
