Our Story & Our Services

Published: 29/05/2024

We want to take this opportunity to re-introduce our services, what we’ve been up to for the first few years of being formed and some of the amazing things our people have achieved.

In 2019, our Director opened our office doors with one clear vision, which was to help create 100 quality roles in care, meaning people were supported, well trained & felt valued. The office contained just a laptop, 4 desks, 5 chairs & a trusty kettle so he could stay caffeinated.

The first 6 months saw us complete the process to obtain our CQC Registration, and we sought out to onboard the first few members of our team & begin accepting our first few clients.

Claire was first to join us, and between them, Jack & Claire were delivering all the care (about 10 hours a week).

Since that first part of our journey, we’ve seen the following:
  • Delivered over 500,000 care visits delivering care that gives people choice & independence
  • Achieved 4.8* across 58+reviews on Indeed, showing that keeping quality employment at the heart of our organisation has been achieved.
  • Created our Champion programme, which has allowed us to hold client focused events, launch our LGBTQIA+ programme so everyone can feel supported & our mental health champion.
  • Two office moves to allow us to grow our operations/support team
  • Helped 11 people advance their career by enabling them to become trainers in; medication, moving and handling and basic life support
  • Trained more than 40 people in various clinical training tasks such as PEG, Stoma & Catheter care
  • Held a number of charity events in our office to raise money
  • Helped more than 300 adults to live well at home
  • Navigated a pandemic in our first year of opening
  • Created 8 opportunities for people to join our growing office team
  • Helped countless people step into their dream career, including midwifery, nursing & other NHS careers.

In just five short, but impactful years, our team of one has turned into a team of nearly 50. We’ve not only upgraded the original desks but had to add more to the office (we now have 12 to be precise). We are proud to be helping people across Calne, Chippenham, Melksham, Devizes, Corsham & Trowbridge 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Our services help people to:
  • Maintain their independence whilst completing their personal care routine
  • Safely manage their daily medication, with the assistance from a friendly, trained, CareGiver
  • Enjoy health nutritious meals, which can be made by our CareGivers, or even with them
  • Benefit from Home Help, ensuring our clients homes can stay tidy & clear from trip hazards
  • Stay proud of the home they live in, with our Cleaning & Housekeeping service, which helps them to clean those hard to reach places
  • Enjoy days out to the beach, or places of worship
