Right at Home Chippenham Make Client's Birthday Wish Come True

Our team of friendly and committed CareGivers always go the extra mile to make sure we achieve this.

This weekend, Miss T, who has been a Client of Right at Home Chippenham for several months, wanted us to help her to get to the Shabbat Service in Bristol where she was giving a reading for her Birthday.
Miss T used to attend the service each year to give a reading on her birthday, however, she has been unable to attend for the last 17 years - making this trip even more special.
During lockdown, while Miss T spent a lot of time in her own home, unable to leave, she started to learn Hebrew, with the hope of marking her birthday by giving a reading again.
This year, with the help and assistance of Gail, one of her regular CareGivers, she was able to attend the service. Not only did Miss T give a reading, but she was able to do it in Hebrew, having spent the last year learning the language.

We are all extremely proud to have been able to assist Miss T in fulfilling her birthday wish & equally impressed of her in her passion and determination to complete this blessing in Hebrew at the Shabbat service.
After a successful reading, the whole service sang Happy Birthday to Miss T and she was later joined by her friends and family in her local pub for a special birthday meal.
