Meet the Team

Ruth Berry

Deputy Care Manager

I have been dedicated to the healthcare sector since 2002, beginning my career in a nursing home at the age of 17. I went on to work in various settings within the NHS, gaining a broad range of knowledge and experience that has been instrumental in my professional development.

In 2017, I decided to venture into domiciliary care, marking the beginning of my journey with Right at Home Derby. I started as a CareGiver, but was determined to climb the career ladder and utilize my extensive experience. With the unwavering support and encouragement I received from the management, I have exceeded my initial goals. I'm extremely proud of all my hard work and dedication that has brought me to my current role as the Deputy Care Manager for Right at Home Derby.

My responsibilities as Deputy Care Manager includes overseeing the day-to-day operations of the service, conducting client assessments, handling client enquiries, and managing client reviews. I also address daily client queries and complete compliance with all CQC regulations. My comprehensive approach ensures that Right at Home Derby delivers the highest standard of care to all our clients.

In addition to my managerial duties, I am an active member of the Right at Home Derby Charity Team, which fundraises year-round for the Alzheimer's Society and the British Heart Foundation. My commitment to these causes highlights my dedication to making a positive impact both within and outside of my professional role. I am looking forward to the future with enthusiasm and optimism.
