Shabana Ishaq

Care is a completely new career for me as, for the 10 years preceding my starting with Right at Home, I was running a busy newsagent on Castle Street in Dundee. 

I have been married for over thirty years and have three children who are all grown up now. When my husband and I sold our shop, I decided that care would be a good sector to get into for me, as I loved serving and helping the many elderly customers who came to the shop. I always enjoyed assisting them and having a wee chat with them 

I am an honest, kind and caring person. I am always there when people need me. 

Care was completely new for me when I started with Right at Home but I like learning new things and I have really enjoyed my induction training experience.
