We went Live on Facebook to answer your questions on recruitment
Ever thought of becoming a carer? But you aren't completely sure of what is involved or what the day in a life of a carer looks like?
On Saturday 3rd June, we held our very first Facebook Live on recruitment at the office. Julie, Lisa and Vicky were on hand to answer all your questions on how to become a carer. The Live was a great opportunity to talk about what it entails to become a carer, answer questions revolved around why potentially candidates could be apprehensive about joining, and discuss on-going training and support. We answered various questions on topics such as personal care, what types of care we cover, career progression, do you need a driving license, what areas we cover and how far would we expect a carer to travel.
The session was very informative and a great way to see what potential obstacles would deter future Caregivers from applying with us.
