Right at Home East Lancs Joins Whalley Day Festivities

Right at Home East Lancs was thrilled to participate in this year's Whalley Day. The stunning grounds of Whalley Abbey provided the perfect backdrop for a day of fun, community engagement, and local support. Providing a day that all the family can enjoy together.

Our team enjoyed the opportunity to connect with the local community, discussing care needs and the range of services available. It was wonderful to meet other local businesses and share in the festivities.

It was interesting to see how we can link into other services that provide various support to the senior community, and how we can work together to create events aimed at easing social isolation and loneliness.

Speaking to those that came along, really helped us receive constructive feedback on the issues that some may face when deciding what types of home care are available.

This was our first year to enter the corporate duck race and customise our very own GIANT rubber duck, Doris. Although she didn't win the race, she certainly represented Right at Home East Lancs and left a lasting impression.

We extend our sincere thanks to the Whalley & District Lions Club for organizing this annual event and for welcoming Right at Home East Lancs. By supporting local charities and fostering community spirit, Whalley Day continues to make a positive impact.

Here are some of our services that can help keep someone socially active, and assist with attending regular community events:
