Right at Home East Staffs Launch Mobility Solution.

Right at Home receive many applications for employment from excellent potential CareGivers but who either do not drive or do not have access to a car.

The inability to get to Clients in their own vehicle unfortunately means that we have to decline many of these candidates.  This restricts our ability to recruit enough CareGivers to cope with our Clients needs as well as meaning the candidate cannot get a job in a profession that they are suited to.

To overcome this, Right at Home Derby are launching a new fleet of E-Skutas to allow non-driving CareGivers to get to Clients quickly, safely and efficiently.

The new E-Skutas are battery powered bikes which conform to all highways legislations but do not require a driving licence, road tax or insurance.

The bikes have all the safety features of motorbikes, (disc brakes, lights, indicators, horn, speedo etc), but require pedalling to maintain power.  Once pedalling, the bikes will cruise at 15mph with a range of up to 50 miles.

We are looking forward to getting our first new employees to start and trial these new bikes.
