Successful Launch of Warm Space Event

Launch of Willington Warm Space a resounding success:

Right at Home, in conjunction with Willington Village Hall, successfully delivered it's first "Warm Space" event on Friday 8th. 

The hall was heating to a nice and warm 24C ready for the event to get going.

Our Community Engagement Office, Jodie, did a great job at making some nice warm mince pies, biscuits and cookies for the day.

Tea's and Coffee's were in plentiful supply as the event got going.

We would like to thank Willington Village Hall and all the volunteers who turned up to assist on the day.

The event will run every week and we have interest from other groups who would like to attend.

Future plans are for some of the children from Willington Pre-School to call in and join in with some inter-generational games.

There have been suggestions of creating a book and jigsaw swapping service or even creating some knitting/crochet support services.

The event is for all ages who would like an opportunity to mingle and chat with different people for a short while on a weekly basis.
