Award-winning homecare in Enfield
Published: 29/03/2019
Back in April 2020, we won a prestigious award! Right at Home Enfield was recognised as one of London’s Top 20 Homecare Providers by leading independent care review website, homecare.co.uk (which is like TripAdvisor for the care industry). Winning scores are based on real reviews from happy Clients and we couldn’t be prouder of our 10/10 rating. We have been extremely busy throughout the pandemic ensuring Clients are receiving top quality care with no corners being cut when it comes to safety. About 4 months on from our award win, here’s some insight in to what we are all about and how we deliver our exceptional client focussed care and support.
What makes us different
How does a young agency with a small team provide some of the best care London has to offer? Well, we believe in delivering real outcomes to real people. Our CareGivers aren’t interested in ticking boxes, they’re dedicated to helping Clients live as independently as possible – even if that means saying goodbye when they don’t need us anymore.
At Right at Home Enfield, we only hire the best CareGivers around. As well as industry-standard recruitment processes, we ask ourselves a simple question before making an offer: “Would I trust this person to look after my mother in her own home?” If the answer isn’t a resounding “Yes”, it’s a no from us.
Following rigorous training, CareGivers are carefully matched to Clients based on their needs and personalities, so time spent together is enjoyable and not just a service. We’re friendly and discreet, and we don’t wear uniforms so we can protect Client privacy when we’re out and about in the community.
We never offer Clients just 15-minute slots; our preferred minimum visit lasts one hour and we don’t believe in charging Clients for our travel time. We want to get to know our Clients and give them the highest quality care. That means making time to identify and react to any changes in health and wellbeing without racing against the clock.
How we can help
We offer a wide range of services to seniors and adults with physical impairments and mild learning difficulties. We work with Clients and their families to put together a Personal Care Plan and keep daily records and communication sheets at their home.
Services include:
- Companionship and support – a trusted and friendly face to share interests with
- Elderly care – bespoke support for everyday tasks around the home
- Specialist services for Alzheimer’s and dementia – consistent company and stable routines to help manage these conditions in a familiar setting
- Personal care – help maintaining personal hygiene with dignity and respect
- Respite care – providing temporary care while the primary CareGiver takes a break
- Live-in care – 24/7 care in the Client’s own home from a dedicated live-in CareGiver
- Hospital to home – helping Clients return home safely from hospital.
Just as no two Clients are the same, our services are tailored to meet the individual needs and requirements of the person receiving care.
What does a CareGiver do?
Our CareGivers are highly-trained to perform a range of tasks during their visits. These can range from helping around the house, cooking, running errands and pet care, to help with washing, dressing and continence care, or arranging transport, chaperoning trips and providing medication support.
We regularly re-assess Clients’ needs to make sure we’re delivering the right level of care at all times. Our primary goal is to help people live independently in the comfort of their own home for as long as possible.
