Right at Home franchise teams across the country have been raising vital funds for the British Heart Foundation throughout February.
The network embarked on a joint mission to celebrate Heart Month by collecting donations for vital research and raising awareness about heart and circulatory diseases, which cause 175,000 deaths in the UK per year.
From our northern and Midlands-based teams in South Cheshire and Derby, down to our southern offices in Chichester, Bristol and Somerset, everyone has put in an incredible effort to support the campaign.
Several initiatives launched across the network were centred around fitness and promoting heart health. In Derby, 10 staff members embarked on an 874-mile virtual bike ride – the distance from Land’s End to John O’Groats – and encouraged friends and family to sponsor their efforts.
In West London, Verity Carrington, Registered Manager at RaH Hillingdon & Uxbridge, completed a six-mile swim, raising vital funds for the BHF.
And in Chippenham, our RaH franchise invited its beloved Clients to take part in a fundraising challenge in an effort to improve the overall health of those its supports.
Some 50 Clients living across Wiltshire, including older adults and those with disabilities, signed up for RaH Chippenham’s 2025 Wellbeing and Exercise Challenge.
Jack Miller, Managing Director of RaH Chippenham, said: “Through this challenge, we hope to inspire positive change, encourage individuals to embrace healthy habits, and shine a light on the crucial work being done by the British Heart Foundation.”

RaH offices in Derby, Mid Hampshire, Chippenham and Chichester encouraged staff and Clients to take part in fundraising fitness challenges.
Elsewhere across the network, RaH offices hosted quiz nights and healthy bake sales in support of the BHF, with staff and Clients invited to join the fun.
The team at RaH Bristol held its Heart Month Quiz at its Community Lunch Club on Valentine’s Day, with the winner receiving a heart-shaped box of chocolates to share.
Meanwhile, RaH North Somerset hosted a quiz night at a local business hub and café, with Community Development Officer Amy Collins taking on the role of quizmaster.
Following the success of the event, Amy held a ‘heart-healthy’ bake sale at the team’s office in Weston-super-Mare, raising over £90.
Grant Attwood, Owner of RaH North Somerset, said: "Supporting the BHF is so important to us at Right at Home. Many of our clients are affected by cardiac disease and we see the impact this has on them and their families every day.
“The British Heart Foundation funds ground-breaking cardiac research and education - adding to our knowledge and saving lives. We feel proud to support their amazing efforts by raising awareness within our local community and contributing to the BHF's ongoing work."

Several RaH franchise teams, including RaH North Somerset and RaH Bristol, have held quizzes and bake sales to raise funds for the BHF.
RaH UK has been a proud partner of the British Heart Foundation since 2022, supporting the charity to lead the fight against heart disease. In September 2024, the network took part in the charity's STEPtember challenge, taking 10,000 steps per day throughout the month and raising over £3,000.
