Two inspirational leaders from our network received deserved recognition for their achievements this month

We are proud to announce that two members of our Right at Home family have received prestigious awards for their leadership skills.
Both leaders have supported their teams to achieve incredible results over the last 12 months and we’re thrilled they have received such worthy recognition.
First to take home her award was Claire Moseley, Registered Manager at Right at Home Loughborough. She was crowned Care Leader of the Year at the Care Professional of the Year Awards, held in Leicester on October 4.
The event, organised by Inspired to Care, a project funded by Leicestershire and Leicester councils to help promote careers in the sector, celebrates staff who excel in caring for county and city residents.
Claire joined RaH Loughborough as a CareGiver in April 2022 after experiencing burnout in her previous role at a high-volume, intensively rostered care provider.
She was keen to remain in the sector she loved, but longed to join a team that would value her worth, and RaH Loughborough certainly did that.
It quickly became apparent that Claire had what it takes to be a good Care Coordinator and excelled in this role, before being promoted to Registered Manager earlier this year.
Since then, Claire has transformed RaH Loughborough’s internal compliance rating, having worked closely with our National Office compliance team to identify gaps in the service and drive improvements.
Despite facing personal health challenges, she’s also shown incredible commitment to her team, resulting in a 5 Star Employer Award, an accolade based on CareGiver reviews.
Commenting on her award win, Claire said: “Winning the Care Leader of the Year Award was the proudest moment of my life. It came as a shock as I didn't think I would win, but I am overjoyed to have received it. Being recognised makes me feel valued, appreciated and motivated to achieve more.”
Congratulating Claire, RaH Loughborough Owner David Newcombe said: “Claire has been instrumental in growing our business to where it is today and supporting our care team to do what they do best – making a positive difference to the lives of our wonderful Clients.”

Heather Wehrle was crowned Executive Leader of the Year at the
Leaders in Care Awards
Heather Wehrle, our Director of People and Brand at National Office, also picked up a prestigious accolade this month. She was named Executive Leader of the Year at the Leaders in Care Awards, held in Birmingham on October 8.
Heather was recognised for her integral role in propelling Right at Home to where it is today, launching some of its biggest initiatives, as well as her work in shining a positive spotlight on the wider social care sector.
Key achievements include revolutionising our digital marketing support offering for Franchise Owners (FOs), resulting in a 93% increase in traffic to local office careers pages, and the launch of a new coaching approach for our Business Support Managers to help FOs who are struggling to maintain their expected performance.
One franchise office to benefit from this coaching initiative achieved a 46% increase in revenue in the space of two months.
Heather has also launched trailblazing campaigns over the last year that tackle key challenges faced by our sector, resulting in several meetings with key policymakers.
Commenting on her award win, she said: “It was a thrill to even be nominated in the same category as such inspiring and respected individuals, but to actually win the Executive Leader of the Year Award was a huge privilege.
“It’s a dream to be able to support our network of Franchise Owners and care professionals who make such a positive difference to the lives of their Clients. The work they do and the impact they have is what drives me and inspires me every single day.”
Congratulations to both winners on their outstanding achievements!
