Three Right at Home franchise owners will celebrate 10 years of successful business this summer.
The occasion will be marked by a special celebration, as they have each chosen to enter into a further five-year partnership with Right at Home UK.
We are delighted to extend our successful working relationship with Tim Haigh, whose Sutton & Epsom territory was the first franchise office in the UK network, trained and supported by Ken Deary, after he successfully trialled the Right at Home model of care and franchise system from our pilot office in Preston.
Former Communications Director Tim signed with Ken in July 2011, and was joined shortly afterwards by HR Director Andree Kerr, operating in the South London territory of Wimbledon, Putney and Kingston; and Accountant Julie Foote, who opened in her home territory of East Lancs & Ribble Valley.
Reflecting on his time with Right at Home, Tim said: “These last 10 years have passed so quickly, I can scarcely believe it.
“I’ve seen our network grow from a handful of enthusiastic owners, supported almost solely by our hands-on franchisor Ken Deary, into the homecare powerhouse it is today.
“In that time Ken has assembled a uniquely talented National Office team, whose aim is to ensure Right at Home franchisees grow profitable businesses by following a proven system of operational excellence.
“By following the Right at Home roadmap to success, I’ve been able to achieve annual revenues of over £1m and I expect to double that figure by 2026.
“But financial rewards aside, my proudest moments centre around my brilliant team of compassionate CareGivers, who strive every day to improve the lives our customers, some of the most vulnerable people in our society.
“I still do hands-on care myself – not because I need to, but because the deep satisfaction I get from helping someone reminds me continually why I joined Right at Home – to make a difference. Ten years on that feeling never gets old.”
Ken said: “Our first franchise renewals will be a very proud moment, as it signifies the success of our proven business system.
“Tim, Andree and Julie played an important role in helping us to shape the Right at Home model for the UK market in the early years of the business and they remain superb brand ambassadors.
