"The care service is outstanding. The carers are engaged, attentive, compassionate and very flexible and competent. Everyone in the organisation, from the managing director down, are professional and pay scrupulous attention to detail. My aunt has been completely reassured and regained confidence and good humour due to her care package. I would give this care company my full endorsement and highest recommendation."

Why Choose Right at Home Grantham for Homecare?

Preferred One-Hour Visits

We believe in providing exceptional support for people in Long Bennington. As part of our commitment to this level of quality care, we advocate for one-hour visits to our Clients. This allows Caregivers to pay particular attention to our Clients’ conditions, addressing their needs fully and ensuring they are completely satisfied by the time they leave.

Live-in Care in Long Bennington

Live-in care stands as one of the most comprehensive types of holistic care for people requiring support to stay well in their own homes.

Live-in CareGivers will stay in your home and provide care over an extended period, ensuring all your requirements are fully met. In some cases, this is a preferred alternative to residential care, as Clients can remain in familiar surroundings, which has a much better effect on mental well-being.

Check out our live-in care page if want to know more.

Person-Centred Care

Person-centred care is a method of support that prioritises the individual instead of completing tasks. This approach acknowledges each person's uniqueness, appreciating their experiences, preferences, and needs. It creates an atmosphere where Clients feel listened to and respected, ensuring that their input shapes every part of their care.

By emphasising empathy and understanding, our CareGivers establish more genuine connections with Clients, which makes for a rewarding home care experience.

Homecare in Long Bennington: Things to Do for Our Clients in the Area

The Long Bennington Village Hall, situated in the centre of the village, is almost directly opposite the Royal Oak Pub. Built in 1986, it was officially opened by HRH The Princess Royal in 1987. The village hall hosts many events, which offer our Clients a chance to feel like they are part of their community, catch a production, or participate in one of the regular activities, such as the gardening club and arts and crafts meet-ups.

St Swithun's Church has been a central part of the community for nearly 900 years. On the second Sunday of each month, the church hosts a stall selling books, cards, and small gifts. Visitors are welcome to browse for a special card or spiritual book and to enjoy a chat with coffee and biscuits between 11:30 am and 12 noon, following the 10:30 am service.

Similarly, Clients are welcome to join us for the Methodist Coffee Morning every third Saturday of the month at the Methodist Chapel for coffee, cake, and conversation.

The Chatty Café meets every Thursday afternoon from 13:30 to 14:30 at Baker’s at Sixty-Two on Main Road, Long Bennington. This national initiative aims to reduce loneliness by encouraging people to chat. The group is hosted by two Chatty Café Scheme volunteers each week. For more information, contact Mary Barlow at marybarlowhello@gmail.com or call 07885 639091.

A mobile library service is available outside Long Bennington Village Hall every Friday from 13:30 to 14:30. For enquiries, please contact customer service at 01522 782010 or visit www.lincolnshire.gov.uk for more information.

Planet Bakes Cafe is a family-run coffee shop and a popular stop for the team at Right at Home during their breaks while visiting Clients.

Right at Home Grantham is also holding chair yoga session for the Long Bennington Medical Staff Team, which starts in August 2024. Stay tuned for our photos!
