A little bit about Alice:

Alice joined us in winter 2023 and has been an incredible, valued team member ever since! Every time she visits HQ, her bright smile and cheerful personality lights up the room.

What motivated you to pursue a career in caregiving?

Helping people in need gives me immense satisfaction and seeing them smile whenever I walk in their home, makes me realise how my care is making a positive difference in their lives.

What inspired you to join Right at Home?

I admired the company's work ethics and I wanted to be part of a company where I can continue to use and expand my skills.

What does a typical day look like for you?

My typical day starts with putting my kids in school in the morning, then I start my calls at 09:15 , assisting my clients to get ready to start a new day, I get a break and start with lunch calls , pick up my kids from school and drop them home, get a break then start bed time calls.

Can you share a memorable moment or achievement that you have experienced as a caregiver?

One Sunday my client was not well enough to attend church service and I asked her if she would like me and her to have our little service in her home and she liked the idea, we read the Bible, sang hymns and said prayers. She was so pleased.

What are your interests or hobbies outside of work?

Going for a walk and listening to music.

What’s the best piece of advice you have ever received?

The closest thing to being cared for is to care for someone else.
