A little bit about Mira:

Mira has been part of Team Farnham for over four years, where she previously worked in a corporate environment and even once upon a time was a waitress. Now a domiciliary caregiver, Mira’s daily responsibilities include providing personal care and supporting clients in rebuilding their confidence through community outings, such as day trips and shopping excursions.

What motivated you to pursue a career in caregiving?

Change of career. To try and experience something new.

What do you enjoy or find most rewarding about your role?

Every day is different, it's rewarding to see I bring a smile on my clients faces and that feeling of being reassured, I guess.

Can you share a memorable moment or achievement that you have experienced as a caregiver?

To help gain confidence in walking with my certain client.

What are your interests or hobbies outside of work?

I enjoy exercising at my local bootcamp, I like to bake and I enjoy walking my little dog.

Do you have any pets? If so, what?

Dog called Beau. Oh and leopard gecko called Gaby.
