We are thrilled to have been scored as a 5* employer by our team!
In an anonymous survey carried out by an independent research company, team members were invited to give their opinions on areas such as employee engagement, training and development, leadership and employee recognition.
Compared to 2019, we scored higher in all areas with general satisfaction rising by a massive 16 points – this puts us three points above the national Right at Home average.
We value our employees, and this is apparent from the moment you join us. One hundred per cent of respondents gave top marks for how they were treated from their first contact with us through to their induction training. Employees also gave 100% for their initial training and how it prepared them for their first client home care visit.
Our standards are high and so we were delighted to see that 100% of respondents say they understand what makes us different from other home care providers and everybody understands how their work contributes to our goals and objectives. We were also heartened by the 98% of staff who feel they are given enough time to deliver high quality care.
Job satisfaction is highly important, and this comes from knowing what is expected from you and the support you receive. Ninety-eight per cent of respondents are clear about what is expected of them and over 90% feel they receive enough support from their supervisor and feel part of a team.
Training is an area where we invest heavily. Encouragingly, 100% say they have access to the training they need to do their job well and 96% say that their job gives them the opportunity to learn and develop new skills.
We are proud that 98% of respondents would recommend our home care services to family or friends and see this as an endorsement of the great job they do.
