An Outstanding Care Quality Commission (CQC) rating is an achievement worth celebrating so finding a way to thank a large team of staff when social gatherings are restricted, led to the Managing Director of local home care agency coming up with a creative idea.
Alastair Shanks from Right at Home GF commissioned an artist to draw caricatures of every member of staff portrayed as superheroes.
Commenting, Alastair Shanks says: “When I received the news at the end of May that the CQC inspectors had given us an overall rating of Outstanding, I felt so proud. Without doubt, this wonderful result was down to the dedication, care and commitment of every single member of the team.
“I wanted to thank the team formally for their amazing contribution and thought the caricatures would be a fun and lasting way to do so.”
The caricatures have been well-received by staff and are sure to be a thank you gift that is treasured.
