Keith & Kirsty gave up their careers in the city to find a new business that would give back to the local community. Having spent the last 20 years working for various large corporations it was time for them to find something that was more fulfilling and personal.
Kirsty delivered hands on care for her father and knows what a difference person-centred care makes to an individual and their families. “Having good carers meant that my family and I could accept help knowing that my Dad was in the best hands when we needed a break.”
When Keith was very young he saw how quickly his Grandfather (who had Alzheimer’s) declined after being moved into a home. He passed away shortly after. Over the past few years he has seen how an excellent live-in carer helped his Uncle, until he passed away and how that carer has now become a companion for his Aunt.
These events helped Keith & Kirsty to realise that they wanted to provide the best care with helpful, friendly caregivers and being able to keep people in their own homes for longer, was something they both wanted to do and felt very passionate about. “What better motivation does anyone need to get up in the morning, than being part of a team of people making a positive difference to people’s lives everyday!”
