October GEM Award Winners 2021

Here at Right at Home we offer GEM Awards to a member of our care team every month. These awards are presented to those who are 'Going the Extra Mile' in their job. It's our way of honouring the achievements of those individuals. It's a small gesture to show our appreciation of their hard work.

We were proud to present our October GEM Awards to 2 of our amazing CareGivers Alisha and Ewa. 

Ewa was presented with her GEM Award as she always has her client's best interests at heart. One client in particular that Ewa visits is always excited to see Ewa and enjoys her picking flowers from their garden and putting them in a vase in the client's bedroom. This always brings a smile to the client's face, leaving them happy and satisfied!

We presented Alisha with her GEM award after staying 11 hours over night unplanned at one of our clients’ houses waiting for an ambulance to arrive and keeping our client feeling comfortable, safe and reassured. Alisha always puts our clients first and always offers fantastic help and efficiency without needing to be asked or prompted.
