"I came into care by chance, I was a domestic assistant working in a local hospital but spent most of my time talking to patients, getting them cups of tea whilst they waiting for transportation to go home, then one of the nurses mentioned I’d make a good carer, and that was it, I started in a local nursing home, working nights and now some 30 years on I can honestly say, I love my job with a passion!

Having cared and supported people living with Dementia I became a Dementia Friend and volunteer with the Alzheimer’s Society.

I am a Dementia Friend with the Alzheimer’s Society and have cared for so many people living with dementia for some 15 years, I am also a qualified trainer.

We at RaH  aim to make wishes come true, and have so far made so many wishes come true for our many wonderful clients this to me is such a humbling experience and why I look forward to each and every day. 

I chose to be part of the Right at Home Family as I truely believed in  Right at Home’s values & vision, providing our clients with a high standard of quality care, enanbling and empowering people to live in their own homes for longer and safer as well as having a good quality of life and making a difference each and every day!
