How would you describe your role?

I manage a team of CareGivers, this includes making sure that our team are fully supported in their roles and that clients needs are fully met.

What did you do before joining Right at Home? 

I have always been involved in health and social care in some capacity, this has included the CareGiver role, senior role and manager role.  I have also been involved in training caregivers to help them achieve their level 2 and 3 qualifications.  As soon as I took on the role as caregiver at the age of 18, I knew that this was where I was supposed to be.

What do you enjoy most about your job?

I enjoy seeing the difference we make as a team to all of our clients and families on a daily basis. 

What has been your proudest moment at Right at Home HH?

My proudest moment has been being promoted to Deputy Manager, in this position I feel that I am able to make a real difference to everyone we support. I make sure that care is personalised to individual needs and that CareGiver's are given the support to do this.

What do you want to achieve at Right at Home HH? 

I want to grow the clients and team to support people to remain in their homes for as long as possible with quality care.

What are the qualities you look for in a CareGiver? 

Qualities I look for in a caregiver is empathy, honest, and a passion to work in the sector.

CareGiver's also need to want to make a difference to the lives of those they support.
