Nichola Smith

I am Nikki, the Care Coordinator at Right at Home Hemel Hempstead. Having worked for many years in the corporate financial sector, I decided to transition into a more fulfilling career in healthcare following the changes brought about by Covid-19 and my personal experience as a part-time carer for my mother-in-law until her passing in 2023.

My journey began with volunteering for St John Ambulance, where I trained as an official first aider and supported various community and national events, including the London Marathon. At Right at Home, I started as a carer and have loved providing help and support to Clients and their families.

As the Care Coordinator, I am committed to ensuring excellence in planning, serving as the central point of communication, supporting our care professionals, and building a strong team that upholds our people-centred approach.
