Dementia Awareness for Right at Home Ipswich Caregivers

We held one of our Dementia Awareness Sessions for our Caregivers this week (in socially distanced groups of course!).
Over the years, we’ve delivered many free Dementia Awareness sessions for health professionals and charities.
The key to exceptional Caregiving is:
• having the right people in our team who want to make a difference
• clients seeing the same Caregivers
• offering our team further learning opportunities to help understand the conditions clients may be living with.
Right at Home Ipswich is passionate about encouraging and supporting clients with Dementia to have the best day possible. Someone may not remember the activities they have done with their Caregiver, but the feeling of well-being stays with them.
There’s nothing more rewarding for us than matching a client with the right Caregiver and helping someone maintain their sense of purpose and well-being. Caring professionally for someone with dementia also helps their family carer have a break for a few hours
