Suffolk-born Peter Berry is a passionate cyclist. Peter was diagnosed with early onset Alzheimer’s disease at the age of 50 years. Since his diagnosis he has used his experiences of living with dementia to raise awareness and complete extraordinary cycling challenges which have raised thousands of pounds for dementia charities.

Peter has also written a book, ‘Slow Puncture‘ (co-authored by Deb Bunt) about his experiences of his diagnosis, subsequent depression and, then, of how he began to “live well with dementia”, and how cycling has become his salvation.

Right at Home Ipswich is really looking forward to reading Peter’s inspiring story. Slow Puncture is available to pre-order or read more about here.
