She explains a bit about herself and working in care and for Right at Home.

1. Tell me a little bit about yourself?
- I am Jennifer from the Philippines.I am compassionate towards clients under my care. I am also willing to take extra time to make a client feel comfortable and respected. I also follow procedure carefully and ask questions when I am unsure about something.

2. What were your first impressions of Right at Home?
- For me, Right at Home is well-respected company and responds to openness and diversity that recognises talents, hard-work and productive contribution of international hires.

3. Did you have any previous experience in care before you joined?
- I was working as a Nursing Assistant in the hospital and I am also a qualified Midwife for almost 9 years.My experience was so rewarding and it motivates me to pursue this career and work here in UK.

4. What do you enjoy doing in your spare time when you are not caring?
- I really enjoyed reading books, walking, spend time to talk to my family.

5. What has surprised you most about working at Right at Home?
- The care for their employees in terms of wage increase.

6. What is the most challenging thing about being a carer?
- The most challenging part of being a carer is providing comfort to a family whose loved one is critically ill.It is challenging because I have an important job to perform in taking care of the client and at the same time, I must be compassionate and helpful to his/her family members in the area.

7. What do you enjoy most about working at Right at Home?
- I enjoyed the perks and company benefits.

8. What did you do before joining Right at Home?
- I am a Midwife before joining the company.

9. What might we be surprised to know about you?
- I have the ability to be quick in responding to signs of care, first aid or emergency situations which is very important in fulfilling the job as a care assistant.

10. What would you tell someone who is thinking about joining the team?
- I will highly recommend my friends to join your company because of your excellent care for your employees in terms of management.

11. How do you think clients would describe you?
- My service user is very consistent in telling my bosses during spot checks or survey that I am very compassionate, hardworking, honest and reliable person.

12. Tell me how you first got involved with Right at Home?
- My auntie lives here in the UK. And she has a friend who knows RAH. They asked me if I would like to apply for a carer job. As an international applicant, I am very thankful that RAH gave me an opportunity to work with them.
