New Mobility Car!
Supporting our Clients to get out and about in the local community with our new mobility vehicle

At Right at Home Maidenhead, we are committed to providing the highest quality care and support to our Clients and making a real difference to their lives every single day. To allow us to do this for each and every Client, we are delighted to share that we have recently purchased a mobility vehicle.
As well as supporting our Clients on day-to-day living, we also encourage them to get out and about in the local community, meeting friends and continuing to pursue activities which they have enjoyed in previous years. Our goal is for these opportunities to be available to all of our Clients and having the mobility vehicle will help us achieve this, particularly in this cold weather, where people may not feel as confident leaving their homes and can often feel isolated and lonely.
From the outset, we get to know our Clients’ likes and dislikes, passions and pet peeves. Not only does this allow us to match them to a CareGiver with similar interests, but it also enables us to put together a personalised support package which incorporates activities which they enjoy.
Just last week, our fabulous CareGiver Faye Pearce supported our Client Linda E to Sequela, The Sequela Foundation was set up in 2012 to provide support for people with neurological conditions such as Parkinson’s, Multiple Sclerosis, Stroke, Ataxia – to name but the most common ones. Linda really enjoyed herself and is over the moon to be back out in the community. We hope that in time we can also support our Clients to go on holiday, where they may otherwise have missed out on the opportunity.
If you would like to know more about our mobility vehicle or how we can help you or a loved one get out and about, please call us on 01628 200 068.
