She explains a bit about herself and working in care and for Right at Home.
1.Tell me a little bit about yourself?
My name is Rani. I am from Pakistan (Islamabad)
I would describe myself as a respectful, observant, reliable and patient person who provides first-class care. Over the years, I have worked in various roles where the need to work closely with other people, follow strict rules and procedures, and demonstrate understanding and empathy have been required. I started my career as a teacher and then I found care field attractive so I started doing my studies in care field and now from last two years I am doing my job in health and care. Currently I am working in a well-known company of UK Right at Home from last approx. 1 year.
2. What were your first impressions of Right at Home?
A professional attitude and appearance is a very important element to a good first impression. That is usually distinguished by being appropriate in language and behaviour, being credible and honest, and caring to help customers.
An appropriate language will get you a long way.
3. Did you have any previous experience in care before you joined?
Not professionally but I did studies in care field, and looked after my parents in past as a home care taker and also worked in hospital management.
4.What do you enjoy doing in your spare time when you are not caring?
Going for a walk, Love to read books on human psychology, real stories, and also philosophical novels. I enjoy socialising. Going out for a cup of coffee or for some healthy snack. Spend quality time with my kids and family.
5.What has surprised you most about working at Right at Home?
I love making a difference in other people's lives. I know what I do help them to stay living independently in their own homes. My clients love to see me walking through the door. Caring for other people makes me feel valued.
6.What is the most challenging thing about being a carer?
The person with the condition might become defensive or angry if it feels like they are losing their independence. They could also feel embarrassed about needing help.
7.What do you enjoy most about working at Right at Home?
It's just not the fact that i have found appreciation. And i have also find the joy of making a difference in people's lives. Whatever i do to help them live independently will bring a smile to their face when they see me walking through the door
8.What might we be surprised to know about you?
Extra caring for clients, professionalism, be on time.
9.What would you tell someone who is thinking about joining the team?
Very interesting position and the company, friendly and supportive staff.
10.How do you think clients would describe you?
Kind, hardworking, good communicator.

I was exploring the best care companies when i came across RIGHT AT HOME website, and I got curious to find a suitable role here.
