Syeda- Caregiver of the Month for June

Tell me a little bit about yourself?

My name is Syeda Kazmi, I am 38 years old, I live with my husband and 3 children.

What were your first impressions of Right at Home?

My first impressions were good. I was very happy to start working for the right at home company.

The owner, Scott and the Manager, Alyson are very nice people and  understanding. They seemed very hard working and willing to give the quality care to all clients.

Did you have any previous experience in care before you joined?

Yes I had 2 years of experience looking after my mother in law but right at home built up my confidence and provide me training and skills.

What do you enjoy doing in your spare time when you are not caring?

In my free time I take my family for shopping swimming and do house keeping.

What has surprised you most about working at Right at Home?

The most surprising thing about working for Right at Home is the team work and effort and help each other.

What is the most challenging thing about being a carer?

Making sure you are  giving  the clients best care. Communication is vey important and body language then you can provide best care even client have difficulty in verbal communication.

What do you enjoy most about working at Right at Home?

You have made a difference in some one’s life the job is rewarding working with clients families and other carers.

What did you do before joining Right at Home?

I was house wife looking after my kids and husband a carer of my Mother in Law.

What might we be surprised to know about you?

Having this job helped me build up my confidence and I feel much better carer than before.

What would you tell someone who is thinking about joining the team?

I would say yes its very good company to work for and every one is very help full and welcoming. Team will provide you support you need.

How do you think clients would describe you?

Bubbly patient soft hearted and helpful.

Tell me how you first got involved with Right at Home?

My friend told me about Right at Home she was working for the company.

I was caring for my Mother in Law anyway she recommended me I thought if I can provide care for more clients I will. I went for interview and I got the job!
