Taryn is our carer of the month for December 2015, she has been exceptional in her care work, gets great compliments from her clients and has been flexible and reliable as an employee despite working with a broken finger.

Congratulations Taryn, from all at Right at Home, Maidenhead.

Taryn has answered a few questions about herself so you can get to know more about her and Right at Home.

Tell me a little bit about yourself: I’m originally from South Africa, have been in England for 15 years. I have 2 son’s aged 2 and 5 and due to get married in September.

What were your first impressions of Right at Home? Very friendly and welcoming.

Did you have any previous experience in care before you joined?

Yes, worked for another domiciliary care agency.

What do you enjoy doing in your spare time when you are not caring?

I enjoying spending time with family and socialising with friends.

What has surprised you most about working at Right at Home?

How accommodating the company is.

What is the most challenging thing about being a carer? Seeing patients health detirerate.

What do you enjoy most about working at Right at Home? The hours are flexible and have a lovely bunch of girls to work with.

What did you do before joining Right at Home?  I was a dental nurse.

What would you tell someone who is thinking about joining the team? It’s a great company to be a part of.

How do you think clients would describe you? Very caring, attentive and easy to talk to.
