I spent most of my career working for Her Majesty’s Court Service, where I held several leadership positions and worked at several Magistrates Courts. After having our two children, I decided to focus full-time on raising our young family. During this time I volunteered in various organisations, which focused on Child Care. I also retrained and took several qualifications to become a ‘Higher Level Teaching Assistant’, and I have been privileged to work for some wonderful schools, and work overseas. My transition from looking after young children in schools, to looking after vulnerable adults in their own home was natural for me, as many of the necessary skills are transferable between both sectors.
When not at work, I enjoy travelling to places near and far, painting with water colours, reading a wide range of topics, and spending lots of quality time with my family.
