I was born and grew up in India. I completed my Master’s in Computer Science in India before moving to the UK after getting married.
I started my professional journey in IT and teaching but transitioned to a career in Health Care when my children were young. I began my career as a Care Assistant and gradually transitioned from a Care Assistant to Field Care Supervisor, a Care Coordinator, and Registered Care Manager.
I have developed many skills, especially my communication and leadership skills and have acquired a lot of experience along the way whilst working for several different organizations in a variety of different roles. Through this, I have gained a vast amount of experience and knowledge about different areas such as dementia care, palliative care, learning disabilities, physical disabilities, young adult care and elderly care.
I was shortlisted as a finalist in the Kent Care Awards 2021. I am passionate about learning and progressing in the Care sector. I have completed my NVQ levels 2, 3, 4 and 5 in Health and Social Care.
Outside of my professional life, I find joy in spending time with my two wonderful boys and cherishing moments with my family and friends. In my free time, I like to explore various activities such as visiting local temples for prayer, travelling, cooking, gardening and reading poetry. I can speak 3 different languages.
