A Wild and Wonderful Day at Noah's Ark Zoo Farm!

Our Right at Home clients and caregivers rounded off a jam-packed June with a trip to Noah's Ark Zoo Farm. From majestic lions to playful meerkats, they encountered a diverse range of amazing animals that brought smiles to everyone's faces.

Celebrating Pride Month

During June we celebrated Pride month!

We believe in fostering an inclusive and supportive environment where diversity is not only respected but celebrated. 

We are proud to be an employer that encourages and uplifts every individual, creating a safe space where our team members can bring their authentic selves to work without fear of judgement or discrimination.

To honour and celebrate the LGBTQ+ community, we held a multi-color dress day on June 28th. It was great fun and everyone looked fabulous!

During June we also celebrated Carers Week. We wanted to honour all the incredible individuals who make up Right at Home North Somerset's heart and soul - our caregivers.

While Carers Week shines a well-deserved spotlight on their invaluable contributions, we recognise that our Caregivers deserve appreciation every second of every day.

We are thrilled to share the exciting news that Right at Home North Somerset has been awarded a prestigious 5-star WorkBuzz certificate for our outstanding feedback on the employee work buzz survey. This remarkable achievement is a testament to the dedication, passion, and unwavering commitment of our amazing care team.

We are gearing up for our annual fundraising event in support of the Alzheimer's Society. This year, we're taking on a scenic four-mile walk along the beautiful Weston-super-Mare seafront, and we need your help to make it a resounding success.

We invite you, your family, and friends to join us on this meaningful journey. Whether you choose to participate in the walk or support us through donations, your contribution will make a lasting difference in the lives of those affected by Alzheimer's and dementia.

Poppy scoops New to Care award

We were thrilled to see our Coordination Support, Poppy Campbell, recently receive the New to Care award at the Stars of Social Care Awards.

Poppy, who joined Right at Home North Somerset two years ago, said: “I am thrilled to have received the New to Care award. It feels amazing to have been selected and to have my work recognised. 

“I have really enjoyed my time at Right at Home North Somerset over the past two years. Working in this industry and with my team and our clients is so rewarding and no two days are the same.”

Everyone on the Right at Home North Somerset team would like to say a huge congratulations to Poppy on her award. It is fantastic to see her being recognised for the dedicated work she does. 

To achieve something like this in just two short years since she started is really inspiring to anyone out there considering a career in care. She really is a testament to the team and the whole organisation.

What a super busy June we have had. We’d like to say a huge thank you to all our Caregivers for their wonderful work throughout the month, ensuring our Clients are well cared for and loving life.
